What is J2X?

The Mission

The core mission of Journey To Experience™ is to see lives changed. In leading individuals to the new birth experience by creating an atmosphere through a profoundly captivating weekend of music, video, language, and togetherness we strongly believe the impact that one changed life can have on another and therefore focus our efforts towards personal change with a community application.

The inaugural Journey To Experience™ took place at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York on May 29, 2010. Over 5,000 participants from all walks of life took the challenge to embark on the first Journey To Experience™ ever. This historical night was one of incredible excitement and transformational spiritual energy. What happened here will echo for eternity.

The Movement

There is no curriculum. This is not a program, a class, a seminar, a conference or a one-time event. Simply put – Journey To Experience™ is obedience to the command to “Go Make Disciples.” Evangelism goes beyond the new birth experience to the making of disciples focusing on three areas: Calling, Context, and Culture. The Calling speaks of being released into the purpose and destiny that God originally intended for your personal life. Context speaks of the practical application of that Calling and how to decipher what that looks like when lived out. Culture speaks of adapting to the environment and tactical strategies that yield the greatest cultural change.

Journey To Experience™ is “selecting, demonstrating, explaining, prototyping and coaching” for the purpose of replacing yourself. By helping attendees to grow and learn in their personal lives by radical immersion into the life and community of disciples who have obeyed the Gospel and are convicted by its truth so deeply that their sense of mission is clear, concise, and compelling – Journey To Experience™ can have a transformational impact on an entire generation.

The Movie

Journey To Experience™ The Movie is an explosive video diary that focuses on challenging participants from all walks of life to answer the question, “What’s One Life Worth?”

In the film, through intimate interviews with prominent church leaders and powerful, never-heard-before life change stories, we journey with Jason Aguilar dynamically exploring the piercing and relentless passion to see lives changed. Starting from the Madison Square Garden to Honda Center into the unknown, Journey To Experience™ has become a movement of thousands giving us just a glimpse into the enormity of God’s glorious kingdom.

The numbers are increasing rapidly and the eternal echos of His word, His praise and His promises are being fulfilled before our eyes.
