The Journey Has Begun
We believed. We captured God’s vision. We invested and planted. Now our journey to fulfill God’s destiny in our lives has begun.
Making History
The north east coast region came together with one purpose: to see lives changed. Making three year commitments, they pursued their higher calling by preparing, planing, and promoting an event that would soon make history – Journey To Experience (J2X), a movement that will echo for eternity. The Body of Christ targeted souls and were able to invite over 2,500 non-believers to J2X. Renting the Theatre at Madison Square Garden for the main event gave the Church a new platform to reach out to the masses. This world renowned venue has been a platform for platinum recording artists, celebrities, and politicians. But for one night, the Garden was the House of God! The name of Jesus was declared in New York City. As the world’s capital went about it’s business, principalities and strongholds were being broken in Jesus’ name. The Friday night Youth Experience was a total success and a mere glimpse of what God would do the next day at the Garden. About 2,000 youth from all over the New York Metro area and from various parts of the country filled the Roseland Ballroom with worship to the One True God. Children, youth and adults alike were renewed in their spirits and approximately 50 were filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. This was only the beginning… On Saturday, as believers filled the streets of New York City, they gave out free tickets to J2X. They testified to and prayed for people on the streets. An event of this magnitude could not be successful unless it had been soaked in prayer, fasting, soul-winning, and generosity. God was stirring the city for the greatest outpouring of the Spirit ever witnessed in one night in U.S. history. As the night proceeded, the people began to get in line, anxiously awaiting for what God had for in store for them. There was great expectancy. With almost 5,000 in attendance, the J2X Choir led original J2X songs in explosive worship. This was a multimedia experience like no other. Videos, music, worship, praise, we had it all. God’s glory fell upon that place, and after a message of hope and a moment of repentance, the Word of Faith was declared and more than 1,800 confirmed having received the Holy Ghost speaking with tongues for the first time!
Following Through
As a result, over 1,100 new believers have accepted home Bible studies and these hungry souls are now taking their first steps toward water baptism in Jesus’ name. The Churches of the north east coast region have committed to seeing these lives changed at any cost.
